Are StoryBlox™ products safe for my children?

Yes!  StoryBlox™ products are handmade, here in the United States.  All of the paints, coatings, and glues we use are either all-natural (or otherwise exempt from testing under the CPSIA) or have been certified non-toxic by a third party.

Many of our toys are large enough to be safe for toddlers, but some do have small parts. Products with small parts will always have the appropriate warnings in the product descriptions.

What are StoryBlox™?

StoryBlox™ are a line of quality, hand-made, wooden alphabet blocks that feature both upper and lower-case letters, numbers, and symbols along with nursery rhymes, tongue twisters, songs or build-your-own-story text. These blocks are educational and engaging for toddlers and children of all ages. Young children will play with them just like classic building blocks, while older children will be drawn to the puzzle-like challenge of picking out the right blocks to complete a nursery rhyme, story, song or tongue twister.

Over the past 5 years the StoryBlox™ line has expanded to include various other handmade, educational toys, keepsakes and promotional items.

Will you be making more products?

The StoryBlox™ line is constantly expanding, though we're going through a reorganizing phase right now and won't likely be adding any new products until the spring of 2011. We do, however, have plans to produce an illustrated set of NurseryBlox™ as soon as it's feasible.

Can I get a replacement block?

Yes! If you need a replacement block for any reason, we will provide one for a small fee. Please contact us for details. Be sure to tell us what block(s) you need, including the set, letter(s) (include the text on the sides if you have that information), and your address. We will contact you to verify the details before sending your replacement(s).

Can you customize a full set of blocks for my child or organization?

Yes!  StoryBlox™ currently offers many customized gifts and promotional items. If you are just looking for a small toy, a set of blocks with your child's name, or some custom promotional items one of these products may be perfect for you.

If you are looking for a full 36 block set to be customized for your child or organization, we can do that as well. Please email us with the details of your request for a quote.  Please keep in mind that we can only print copywritten material if you have permission to use the text own the copyright and can provide documentation.

Do you offer wholesale discounts or drop shipping?

Due to the handmade nature of our products, our wholesale discounts are not as large as those you might find from importers.  That said, we do offer discounts for wholesale orders of most products (custom items are generally excluded), and we will consider drop-shipping in certain situations.

What happened to your recycled crayons?

Due to new regulations (known as the CPSIA) it is now impossible for us to to sell recycled products that come from unknown sources, even if those products are perfectly safe. The costs required to retest each individual batch of crayons would be far too prohibitive.

Because of this, we will no longer be able to produce recycled crayons.

We will keep the used crayons that have been turned in through our recycling program, and will bring these products back if the law is ever amended so that this is again possible.
